How long do the batteries of our electric forklifts last?

With this technology, our Jungheinrich electric forklifts can complete two shifts in a row without needing a battery change or interim charge. This saves time, energy, and costs.
- Our innovative lithium-ion batteries, on the other hand, impress with faster charging times and nearly maintenance-free operation. Plus, Li-ion batteries last up to three times longer than conventional batteries. If you already own a Jungheinrich electric forklift, you can even upgrade it with lithium-ion power upon request.

Energy-efficient three-phase technology and PureEnergy concept
Our electric forklift trucks are particularly economical, thanks to advanced and low-maintenance three-phase technology for driving and lifting. This enables the electric forklifts to achieve dynamic handling and maximum handling performance, even under heavy loads. Together with the compact control system and the compact hydraulic unit in the PureEnergy concept, an optimal efficiency rate is achieved, so that even with low torque, maximum performance is possible.
At the same time, the electric forklifts operate extremely energy-efficiently: 30% of the energy is fed back into the battery through regenerative braking. With this extra energy, our electric forklifts can accomplish even more work on a single battery charge.
