Notable attendees included Ms. Jantarath Korbuakesorn, Head of Department Membership, Events & Communications, German-Thai Chamber of Commerce, Miss Sirintorn Insawath, Division Director of National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), Mr. Stefan Brehm, Vice President Asia-Pacific, Jungheinrich, Mr. Manojit Acharya, Managing Director Jungheinrich India and Thailand and Mr. Bart Sprangers, General Manager, Jungheinrich Thailand.

The grand opening featured a series of key activities, including keynotes from Jungheinrich's top executives and a technological showcase featuring products such as Jungheinrich’s Automated Guided Vehicle, EKS 215a. The event also included a cultural celebration with a traditional Thai dance performance, followed by a networking session and a tour of the newly renovated office and the NXT Warehouse.

The NXT Warehouse aims to provide visitors with insights into Jungheinrich's latest innovations and technology offerings and capabilities, ranging from electric trucks to racking to software systems, providing a one-stop solution for end-to-end needs. Currently on display is Jungheinrich's integration of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) showcasing their range of automation, racking solutions, safety, and refurbished trucks, demonstrating sustainable solutions, safety, and the effectiveness of their products first-hand. Jungheinrich is devoted to innovation and sustainability and understand the growing relevance of energy efficiency in today's industrial world.

For instance, Jungheinrich remains committed to innovation and sustainability, with its Lithium-ion technology adoption. Jungheinrich has sold over 1,000,000 electric trucks globally (Lithium and battery electric), reducing CO2 emissions by up to 20%. This mirrors the market trend in Thailand’s Forklift Truck Market, where the electric segment is growing, reflecting a shift towards sustainability and technology in material handling.

Jungheinrich's leadership in sustainable practices is evident through being certified as a top 1% sustainable company for three consecutive years by Ecovadis. Jungheinrich's lithium-ion batteries consume approximately 20% less energy in daily use compared to lead-acid batteries.

Jungheinrich's dedicated refurbishment hub in Samut Prakan, Thailand, has successfully refurbished over 1,000 forklift trucks in the APAC region since its launch. By opting for a refurbished truck, CO2 emissions decrease by approximately 80% compared to purchasing a new one.

These initiatives underscore Jungheinrich's leadership in sustainability, showcasing our commitment to reducing carbon footprints while delivering unparalleled material handling solutions to our customers.
